Recreation Resources
We formed the Recreation Committee in 2018 to address recreation needs and opportunities in the area. The committee works with the Forest Service to find a common vision for recreation in our nearby forests. Committee members also identify creative solutions for recreation issues and opportunities.

Middle Fork Trails Plan
In 2018, the Middle Fork Trails Steering Committee formed to develop a community trails plan. This included leadership from the Alpine Trail Crew Association, the City of Oakridge, and the Middle Fork Ranger District. The committee hosted a number of public meetings and distributed a survey for community feedback. The comments received are compiled in the Community Engagement Report, and the Middle Fork Trails Plan is now being developed based on public input to guide priorities for development and maintenance of area trails systems.
